Committees

Our club has several standing committees that cover a variety of areas.  The goal of all the committees is to further enhance the experience of the Waves.  We are always looking for people to help work on these committees and welcome any comments.

Below is a list of the committees, their function and contact person:

 Program Committee
 Meets on a needed basis to discuss, evaluate
and explore programs that are being offered and
how they fit into our mission.  This includes swim
group size and make up of groups.
Brandon Converse
 Finance Committee   
 Responsible for budget process, setting swim rates
and working with City of EGR on pool usage, rates and
contracts as it relates to our mission. 
 Todd Brandstadt
 Fundraising Responsible for conducting fundraising activites
and securing sponsors on behalf of the Waves swim
club as it relate to our mission.
 Bryon Higgins
 Public Relations/
Media Coordinator
 Responsible for promoting EGRA Waves and the
sport of competitive swimming as it relates to our
mission.
 Kris Ward
 Awards Responsible for ordering and distributing all awards
and incentives for swimmers.
 Doug Congdon
 Social Committee
 Responsible for social events that encourage team
spirit and participation by the whole swim team.
 Amy Donohue
 Meet Committee
 Responsible for organizing and running all home
swim meets, including WMSL and USA meets. 
Members of this committee will recruit volunteers
to run an effective and efficient meet.
